innovations at a local, national and

Working closely with universities, healthcare professionals and companies to develop cutting edge innovations, the HIA have evaluated many thousands of healthcare initiatives.
The distinctive services offered by the HIA are available to organisations with an interest in exploring healthcare innovations.
To date, the HIA activity has lead to significant improvements in the Quality of Care, Patient Safety, Care in the Community, Product Innovation, Preventative Healthcare and Productivity and Cost Savings.
In addition to many of the initiatives already being implemented, the HIA activity has also stimulated the creation of 8 new healthcare companies and leveraged over £20 million of investment funding.
